The IMF Youth Fellowship 2023 program is a chance for young people from around the world to join the IMF in addressing global economic challenges. Since the program began in 2020, over 9,000 applicants have shown interest. This year, the IMF Youth Fellowship Program 2023 will take place in Marrakech, Morocco. All expenses will be covered by the IMF.
Young individuals aged between 20 and 35 will have the opportunity to attend in-person meetings led by IMF management, senior staff members, and external experts. Those selected will also become part of the IMF Youth Network, where they can connect with previous Youth Fellows and receive updates on future opportunities, events, and publications. Financial Benefits
For this Fellowship, IMF covers all the expenses because it is a Fully Funded Program.
The IMF will cover:

Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for the Fellowship, people who apply need to fulfill the following requirements:
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be between 20 and 35 years old as of October 15, 2023.
- Area of Interest: Candidates should have an interest in one of the following areas:
- Social activism or involvement with a civil society organization
- Entrepreneurship or participation in a start-up
- Content creation or influencing on independent platforms
- Knowledge Requirement: Applicants should have knowledge in the following areas:
- International studies, basic economics, and development issues, especially in inclusive economic growth, the digital economy, or climate change.
- Educational Background: Applicants should have graduated or currently be a student in the above-mentioned fields.
- Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of a country that is a member of the IMF.
- Previous Fellowship: Applicants should not have been a fellow of the YFP before.
- Government Affiliation: Applicants should not be affiliated with any government institutions.

you need to fill out an online application form. You can submit your application in Arabic, English, or French.
The application form is brief and asks for a Statement of Purpose. Additionally, you need to upload a video of yourself discussing one of the topics within a time frame of 30 to 60 seconds.
